There are thousand and one way to bring traffic to your blog and I am not going to tell you which is the best here.
The little secret that I found out was that they all works.

Just that you need to choose one or two and stick to it.
I am going to be frank with you. Yes, I am tapping into social networks traffic. There are real people out there wanting to learn what you have already know. Layman term all these people as experts.

So who’s an expert? I would generally classify them as information which you are interested in but do not know them yet. If I know one thing more than you, I am an expert in that area. So how does an expert bring traffic to their site?

I can break down into a few phases here.

Phase 1: Be a part of communities
Select a few good communities. You probably have guessed correctly. MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Hi-5 and Friendster. Does all these ring a bell?
The physcology behind people wanting to be a part of the community is that they want a piece of history and someone to agree with their point of view.

Phase 2: Identify Groups
Of course you want to sing the same tune with like minded people. You’re wrong. Joining a group discussion helps each other to learn. If you can provide a different view point or get people into emotion, you’re a great blogger.

Phase 3: The Invite
I mean come on you know when to invite people to your house for a dinner or for a party. How can you don’t know how to invite people to your blog?
Give them a reason. Use creativity. I uses a donut to invite people if you notice. Come to my site and I will give you a donut. My donut is in the making for now.

I would like to point out to you, just content alone will next skyrocket your blog traffic. You need creativity, in fact I am going use the 80/20 rules to draw in traffic.

Over the next few months, maybe 2 months, you will watch how I transform this site into a traffic vortex.
