Yesterday, I decided to convert my first blog into a Wordpress blog. Not too bad, I did it under 120 mins. If you intend to convert your blogspot blog into Wordpress, you need to consider the below :

1. Backup a copy of your blog post ( get the steps from blogger.com)

2. Turn off your autoresponder for blog if you have one.

3. Backup your blogger template.

4. Setup your wordpress blog using cpanel.

5. Choose a theme you like

6. Install plugininstaller plugin to speed up your plugin installation

7. Go to Wordpress and use the import tab to move all your blog post over.

Note: If you see 0/0 after you authenticate google, this means that you’re using the oldest version of blogger. You need to manually copy and paste all your previous blog post.

However, once you get your Wordpress up and running, check back to my site here. There ways you can start monetizing from your new blog.

Good luck and it’s pretty easy especially you can redirect all your visitors from the old address.
