Today I am going to show you where/how to get your inital stream of visitor to come to your blog. It doesn’t matter if your blog is 500 days old or 5 days old. The trick/strategy is to create a BUZZ.

Blogcatalog Discussion

do you realise something in common? Yes, you do. The person who started the discussion thread is inviting you to view thier highly discussed top or invite you to expose your blog to like mind people. You can easily draw 100 to 200 visitors to your blog daily by creating blog discussion topics.

Blog review is consider the most basic way of creating a small buzz. People would read your blog to find out more about you and what kind of review you’re providing. However, the effort is in you. You need to review each site and give honest advice. Of course, you must be good in your own niche to be able to do so.

However, you also notice something here. Most of the visitor only comment on the discussion thread and not so much on the author blog. Why? There is a missing link.

You need to give your visitor a reason to visit your blog and at the same time, asking people to add their comment/blog url in order to let your discussion float up to the top.

You begin to understand that this is time cosuming and most traffic still stick in/around blogcatalog.
